Dr Raboobee presented his experience with biologic therapy in psoriasis to a group of rheumatologists and dermatologists at the Coastlands Hotel on the Ridge. The treatments included Infliximab, Adalimumab, Enbrel and Stelara. These medications have raised the bar in the treatment of psoriasis and virtually clears the psoriasis completely. He also made reference to Sekukinumab which is not yet registered in South Africa.
The talk was presented on the occasiion of World Psoriasis Day and was hosted by Janssen Pharmaceuticals.
